About The Final Drive.

01What it is

The Final Drive is a free browser game about the most tense part of a football game: the last drive. You are down 20–24 with two minutes left, two timeouts and 75 yards to go. You call every play, manage the clock, and either score the touchdown or run out of time.

There is one daily drive that everyone gets on the same day, unlimited practice drives, and a share link that lets a friend play the exact same start and compare coach scores. It went live on October 16, 2026, at twominutesdrillgame.com.

02Why we made it

Football coaching games usually ask a lot: a season, a roster, a playbook with dozens of plays. We wanted the opposite, a version of the two minute drill you can finish over a coffee and still argue about afterwards.

So the game keeps only the decisions that matter in that moment: four kinds of plays, two timeouts, the spike, and a clock that punishes wasted snaps. The clock waits while you think, so it is about judgement rather than reflexes. Every call is graded as you make it, so you learn something even when the dice go against you.

03Who makes it

The Final Drive is made by a small independent team. We are not part of a league, a team, a broadcaster or a media company, and the game is not sponsored. If you enjoy it, you can support it; the game itself stays free to play.

04Fictional teams, no affiliation

Harbor and Summit are invented teams. The game uses no real players, logos, team names or play-by-play data, and its play outcomes come from simple ranges and percentages written for this game, all listed on how it works.

The Final Drive is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NFL, the NFL Players Association, or any team. “Two minute drill” is a general football term for the end-of-half hurry-up offense; read what a two minute drill is for its history.

05How it is built

The whole game runs in your browser. The simulation is a single file, engine.js, and your drives and record are saved in your browser’s local storage. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics scripts. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. The details are in our privacy policy.
